Ron Squire

Ron became interested in the field of mental health after a life-altering hiking accident that left him partially paralyzed. This incident greatly impacted him for the good and gave him unique insight into helping others through their challenges. He is insatiably curious and his constant reading is an asset to his work.  Ron’s love of history, philosophy, neuroscience, the outdoors, and well-timed humor helps his clients work towards their goals. Whether it's difficult life transitions, mental health battles, or goal setting, Ron is here for you and your loved ones. He genuinely considers it his life's work.

Throughout his career, he has worked with teens, families, couples, and individuals.  He also has extensive knowledge and expertise in working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Ron understands the complexity that can exist in the issues we face. If you are experiencing difficult life transitions, existential turmoil, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, addictions, or family conflict, Ron is highly skilled in treating these areas of life that feel insurmountable at times. Karen Amsden

Karen is one of the most personable and truly loving people with the perfect amount of irreverence. It would be hard to not connect and look forward to your time with Karen. She has experience with a variety of populations and expertise working with individuals with difficult and diverse diagnoses. She does well aiding people from various walks of life and helping them to feel seen as well as find solutions to what is troubling them. You can expect to be listened to, seen, and to come away feeling supported in your efforts to heal when working with Karen.  

Karen helps run the Springville playhouse, wins every radio contest she calls into, travels as often as possible, and is the most loving grandma to her two grandsons.  Her delight in life, even amidst its hardships and difficulties, is infectious and provides wisdom her clients can draw upon.  She is dedicated, loyal, and a sincere joy to work with!

 

Kami Muhlestein

Kami is a small-town girl from Morgan, UT. She enjoys the outdoors, being with others, and seeking truth. These gifts led her to become a Recreational Therapist in 2013. Since then, she has worked with teenagers on the autism spectrum, teenage girls at the Utah State Hospital, teenage boys in foster care, and adults in substance abuse recovery, and is currently also working with military families. It doesn’t matter what your background or struggle is, we are human beings and there are always healthy ways to connect and progress.  

Kami's very passionate about life. She believes there is so much joy in challenging yourself, learning new strengths, getting out of your comfort zone, and learning new skills. Whether it be sports, leisure education, art, or nature-based connection, there is a benefit to it all.
